Senior Director Kruti Bharucha is a believer in finding and investing in the right people. She long ago learned that a leader’s ability is greatly enhanced when a strong, motivated team stands with them. Kruti has seen firsthand how leaders can benefit from their staff, particularly if they have built well-balanced teams encompassing a diverse range of backgrounds. Studying this proven leadership strategy has shaped Kruti’s passion for understanding how the best companies build their talent bench and the impact it has on overall company performance.
Kruti is excited to help lead a team that takes talent issues seriously. She is currently in the midst of an extensive effort to provide finance and other functional leaders with the tools they need to attract, develop and retain talent. This is a large part of why Kruti enjoys her work at CEB, as the company allocates the time, resources and attention to help executives solve their most pressing needs in a sustainable way.
With well-rounded expertise in the world of corporate finance, Kruti alighted on finance talent issues after conducting research across a number of different functional areas. Her past experience spans the private and public sectors, as well as a number of different continents. With a strong mix of practical and theoretical experience from previous positions with McKinsey, the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, Kruti came to CEB in 2005 and has since thrived on engaging deeply on specific business problems and developing practical solutions.
Kruti holds an assortment of degrees focused on economics from the University of Delhi, University of Maryland and London School of Economics. Her most formative educational experience, however, is ongoing as a mother. Her young son regularly teaches her how to look at the world in new and exciting ways. She spends most of her free time playing with (and learning from) him at her home in Gurgaon, India.
